Each Luxury Tent is designed to allow an optimum view of nature. With the option of rolling up the front panels of the tent, the guests can lounge on the patio, which overlooks a dry river bed. Your privacy is respected at all times with the option to roll down the windows and front panels. Although these are tented rooms, the bathroom has been made into a permanent structure for the comfort of the guests.

Sustainability
Keeping up with the sustainability principles, the tents at Jamtara were made to cause the least impact on mother nature. No trees were cut to make wooden floorings in our rooms or to even build furniture other than the bed. Instead, we reclaimed seasoned wood from the decks of ships, writing desks from the Supreme Court of India and sofas that were used in the 70s art deco furniture used by Embassies in Delhi. Hence, this is where Art and Luxury come together. Every year, the flooring comes out, the furniture packs up in May, and we allow the jungle to take over again.
Our Patron
Bittu Sehgal
My family, grandchildren and all, absolutely fell in love with the Jamtara Wilderness Camp. Kailash Sankhala, the first Director, Project Tiger, and Amit's grandfather would have been proud of him and the team he has put together. Sanctuary is working with Amit to rewild the outskirts of the Pench Tiger Reserve in ways that help ensure that local communities become the primary beneficiaries of regenerated biodiversity.
